HOW FAST WILL DWB RESTORATION RESPOND IF I HAVE AN EMERGENCY?
DWB Restoration is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so when you have an emergency, we are able to be on site within 1 hour.

IN A FLOOD EMERGENCY, WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP ALLEVIATE THE PROBLEM?

> If possible, shut off the water source.
> Remove as much water as possible by mopping, wiping, blotting, squeegeeing, etc.
> If water is in the ceiling, punch small holes in any sagging ceilings to relieve trapped water.
> Move all wet clothing and fabrics to a dry place.  Open any empty drawers or cabinets.
> Remove all pictures/paintings from wet walls and damaged areas and move to a dry place.
> Place plastic bags underneath the legs of large furniture to prevent wicking. 
> Move smaller pieces to a dry area.
> Call insurance company as soon as possible to report the damage.

HOW LONG DOES IT NORMALLY TAKE TO DRY A ROOM?
In most cases we can dry your basement in 72 hours or less.

HOW IS MY INSURANCE CLAIM HANDLED?
First, you will need to contact your insurance company or agent to get a claim number, from there, we will handle the rest.  We'll guide you through the process and get things back to normal as quickly as we can.

SHOULD I TRY AND CLEAN SMOKE AND SOOT DAMAGE FROM MY BELONGINGS AFTER A FIRE?
No.  In many cases, trying to clean or repair damage caused by soot and smoke often inflicts more damage.  It is best to hire a fire restoration professional that can assess the damage and determine the best course of action to take in cleaning or repairing your damaged items.
